Arranging it for a parent
When a parent lives a long drive away, you cannot check on everything yourself. A defibrillator in their home should never become one more thing for them to manage, or for you to chase. We look after it, so neither of you has to.
You can’t pop round to check on it
The daily check of its battery, pads and electronics comes to us, not them. If a report goes missing, we follow it up ourselves.
You want to be told if it needs us
If something needs attention, we get in touch with you, with your parent, or with both of you, whichever suits your family best.
They might not want another gadget
We set it up in person and show them where it is and how it works. After that, there is no app, no test and nothing to remember.
Carers and visiting family drop in
It talks anyone through each step, so a carer, a neighbour or a visiting relative can follow it with no medical training at all.
Set-up, daily monitoring and pad replacement come with Complete Protection and rental. Buying outright? It is delivered to your door, without set-up or monitoring.
People aged 65 or over account for most cardiac arrests outside hospital, and 70 to 80% happen at home, which is why a home defibrillator is a sensible precaution.

For you and for them
A home defibrillator is a precaution, set up properly and looked after by us. It asks nothing of your parent day to day, and it leaves the way they live exactly as it is.
What it is
It sits within easy reach and stays out of the way. Most days nobody gives it a thought.
You can make the enquiry for them. We then arrange the set-up at a time that suits them.

What it is not
It reports only on its own battery, pads and electronics. It does not track your parent.
Their GP appointments, any carers and any personal alarm all carry on exactly as before.
Having one is a sensible precaution, not a judgement about how well they are getting on.
